How do you make a unit talk?

Well you wanna go to the Blizzard page and download a file called sound extracter it gets all the sounds out of starcraft and it lets you use them but you need to upload them into sound manager and fiddle with breifings to get it in right timing.

u cant. in the campaign, the sounds were premade. Itd be pretty crazy if u could tho...

If you use those sounds, you make "SHOW PORTRAIT"(something like that I haven't done this in a while) then you choose the unit. Then you select the next, "DISPLAY SPEAKING PORTRAIT" and choose the right one, and for how ever long you want. (1000 milli = 1 second) then, you do "play wav" and whatever wav you want, just make sure to import it. Then you do text if you want players to be able to read what they say incase the sound is down.
