How do you make a frenzy barb?

How? i wanna make a hardcore dueler frenzy axe barb... if axe sucks i will get sword barb.. but how?

Well frenzy will be VERY good if you could get a doom in one hand and botd in the other. But of course not everyone has those godly items so the best i think you can do is to find a way to slow down your opponet and make yourself faster.... The goal is to keep your opponet from hitting you the least number of times possible (cause you can't use a shield) i guess you of course should max frezy and its senergys then go for bo nest then shout to improve your def. btw don't bother maxing berzerk.... 10% magic damage isn't gonna be that much of a diffrence.

Well it's not too hard to come up with something off the top of my head.

Max the synergies, get like 150 str (for dmg or items)
Get enough dex for the items (I think Frenzy gives AR)
all remaning into Vita.

Try for alot of +skills and Deadly Strike with crazy leech. I'm in a sort of rush, or I'd go more in depth.

I'm going to go so far as to say frenzy barbs aren't any good, don't bother. I tried 4 different builds, and all came out as garbage, even with extensive 290s/320s. From doom/beast, to doom/botd, to botd/botd, frenzy barbs just aren't any good.

As I said, I've tried every weapon and item combination I can think of, and I simply can't find a way to make the build any good, and thats just PvM we're talking about, the idea of a PvP frenzy barb is laughable.

I disagree. My lvl 90 Frenzy Barb has 5000+ life, and does 5000+ on each GF I have. I maxed Frenzy/Double Swing/BO And I am putting 2 points for every 2 levels into Either Beserk (adds 1% magic damage to frenzy) or Taunt (adds 8% physical damage) and frankly with my gear on I never die in PVM.

My Gear and stats:

344 Str
211 Dex
365 Vit
like 65 Energy (+ From Gfs/Anni)


Helm: 197/6% 40/15 Arreats
Armor: 2+ skills 178% Ed 15 Damage reduced 40/15 Valor
Weapons: 233/224 % Ed Gf's
Rings: A Raven Spirial/ 20/205 Raven
Ammy: Chaos Noose
Boots: Gore Riders(hey work great with Frenzy's speed bonuses)
Gloves: 8/15 Draculs (with the speed from Frenzy, I never die in PVM )
Belt: 35/15% Verdungos


As for charms, my whole Inventory is full of 16-20 life Scs, except Tp Book, Anni, and Cube.

I'm not saying you should do this, but It's a healthy start I'd say. From experience, I love my Frenzy barb.

...well....maybe I should have been more specific I guess. I'm pretty wealthy on bnet right now, and my barb is stronger than what you just mentioned, and hes about level 70, and I'm not happy with his strength. In short, I guess I expect more from my characters than this one can provide me with. If it works for you, more power to you.
