How do summon necros get bodies to summon?

I was thinking of starting a new summon Necro character. I was researching the builds, but the thing I am missing is how you get your army started. It doesn't seem that there are any skills to kill monsters to get your first bodies for summoning. Especially in Hell mode when things get pretty hard to kill.

Do you have to have a strong merc to get the bodies started, or does your golem do the initial work.

Mostly ur merc..

my summoner pretty much relies on merc and clay golem to make first kill ...then it allll comes together...i recomend goin to act 1 b4 hand to build up army...or if ur in a baal game...followa nd cast

or if u suck.. make people chase after u.. and run into monster.. that way they can kill for u

or use golem.. go to blood moor kill zombies to get skellies for tank.

Yea, that's what my summoner did. He'd have his might merc + golem + amp in act 1 for a little bit. It was great.

LOL.

Just enter the red portal of Nihlatak's temple, and summon all skeletons / mages / revives you can from the dead skeletons, before they wake up.

And you're set.


EDIT: if you haven't arrived at that point of the game, just go out of the rogue encampment and make your merc kill.

And you're set again.

yeh i just use a maxed out fire golem
maxed golem mastery

he owns everything so hes good enough to get corpses but then again u could buy a merc that has a bow
so he can shoot at things while golem fights

yeh then u get ur tank lol
