How do people get all these awesome GC's?

I can't find a single one. I need an elemental one more than anything now. Do they make 'em or something? Can someone explain this to me?

Some people reroll stats on gcs using the horadric cube (magic item + 3Pgems= new stats on magic item of same type)

you can do that (which requires a whole lot of luck and patience) or trade for em and if your lucky, you might find some

EDIT: oh yea, they use high lvl gcs (gcs found from high lvl monsters, ususally in hell)

3 Perfect Gems (of any type) + 1 Magic Item = 1 New Random Magic Item of the Same Type
You can use this formula to get another chance at a Magic Item of the same type. The ilvl = ilvl. This means to use 100% of the ilvl of the input item. It's important to note the difference between "the ilvl is set to a fixed number" like what happens in some recipes and "the ilvl of the output is exactly the same as the ilvl of the input" as is the case here. So if you're cubing for +skills Grand Charms, for example, you want to use Charms starting from late Nightmare, not ones that dropped in the Normal Blood Moor. You can use this formula (with an Amulet) to create a +2 Skills Amulet. And you cannot Gamble one before Character Level 84. Be warned however, that the chances of getting that on an Amulet might be very low (considering everything is available) and it might take a lot of tries. Rare Items cannot be used with this formula to create new Rare Items. You can also use this on Charms and Jewels.

How do i know what ilvl it is? I found a gc during an nm baal run today. It's 13 to resists. Can i make it with this?

Who said anything about needing a gc to make a +2 ammulet?

ah, that was a period not a comma, my mistake.

and btw u don't need a high ilvl gc to get +skill gcs. only reason baal gcs are worth anything is because of the secondary mod (ie 40+ life)

for skills only u only need ilvl 50

why not go mfing? kill high lvl monsters, open chests, etc. I've found 2 skiller charms from opening chests in durance.

I think the lowest iLvl for a skiller to roll is like 45-50 or 55. I could be wrong though.

back last season i got all my skillers from doing the following:

using my hammerdin, i would cow and keep every flawless gem, and check every gc that dropped, plus id keep 1 gc that was shit (lvl 81 gc's are in cows) and would reroll it with the gems i get until it turned into a skiller, then grab a new shitty one and repeat method...would sometimes take days to get a skiller.

to keep myself from gettin too bored id also do andy and meph in every game i made, since cows took me 3-5 mins and each boss took 1-2 mins i was never in there long, that way id be able to mf a bit

ilvl50 is the lowest u can get a skill on a gc.

Either rollback via the recipe Individual showed you or... kill every demon on sight and hope he drops the charm you desire. Killed a Venom Lord in A4 NM and got a +1 Paly combat charm .
