How Do I Get Screenshots In *.bmp?

Ok whenever I save a screenshot it is put as a *.pcx and you can't open that with anything unless you change it which I tried it still doesn't work. I went to bnet, then I pressed print screen inside of a channel like channel cows for example I did that and a screen popped up asking what type of file type to save it as I chose bmp it worked. Does anyone know how to do this in GAMES? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have the Program 'Imaging for Windows' by Kodak. It works with that. Open in that, then 'Save as' .bmp

Could just open the image in 'Paint' and convert it to .bmp from there.

Why would you want a .bmp file though? If you're planning on making it your desktop, or putting it on a website, converting it to .jpg or .gif would be so much better. It has a conversion ratio of about 8:1

And you hit the 'Prnt Screen' button while you're in game to save pics. You can also take screenshots of your desktop with that button while you're not playing starcraft/warcraft. After you hit it, go into 'Paint' or whatever graphical editing tool you use and go to Edit/Paste. It should copy a graphic of your screen when you hit the 'Prnt Screen' button.
