Either way. That was then, this is now. I like to try to keep my head in the present instead of reminiscing about the past.

I am indeed the oldest active member by join date. You want to know how it started? I'll tell you. In the beginning, there was so little spam that it was a topic of very little discussion. Unregistered was funny as **** from time to time, far as I can recall. Freaky, but funny. The old days were filled with meaningful conversation of Blizzard games and there was nary a worry about bandwidth. With the 10 thousandth member not even in our wildest dreams we were free to go crazy and run rampant with giddiness. Those were the days. No spam (like besides in the void, and it wasn't even excessive), no ass holes, and the flaming done was by the cow, the flamingcow.

Ok, so my memory is going and it might not be really all that accurate, so sue me.

I only joined a week after tactus (which ended up being 400 memebrs later. 400 in the first couple weeks)

Life was so incredibly better way back then, things were much nicer and better. the Asylum wasn't the garbage as it is today, and there was only one admin, and one mod(SkuZZy) for that time that it was first up it was the best time BF has ever had. SkuZZy's reign ws by far the highlight of Battleforums. no one can match what he created and what he prolonged.

IT was to bad he couldn't keep the place running anymore (battlefourms = a butload of money) along with a life.
