How come when i edit a item with Jammala it dosen't work

Wud up! I am a diablo 2 fan hacker. I want to be able to edit items with Jammala but every time i do (even simple hing like raise defendes by 1) it all ways says "Invalid invatory data." For example when i am editing the EXECUTIONER SWORD i want it to slow the person by 100% so i do it go into the game an it says the thig agen. Then when I get on open B.N. (Battle.Net) this guy kicks my nooby butt by slowing me almost to a comepleat stop.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
