How come the JED Pindlebot wont pick anything up or buy potions?

The pindlebot wont pick up any Jewels, Rares, or Charms that i find.... what do i do?

reasons you do not have items in your inventory

1) it was filtered and it was tossed because it was junk
2) the item was not dropped when the pickit monitor was on
3) you left the game due to chicken/game time out
4) it simply is not in your pickit-items.jed
