uhhh im pretty sure you can change your resolution in game by hiting escape and looking thru the stuff in the options it should let you change it there if thats even what your asking .

800*600 is max, there is no such thing as a res-hack, he's probably got autoaim, screenshots?

Actualy i belive you can do it via your Registry, just find the value.

hes probably using scroll
scroll is an option in maphack which allows you to move your screen without moving your character... with that he could easily namelock you from 2-3 screens away
