Long story short, I'm told to read a book which the main char is gay.
Then im to write an essay concerning one of the topics.

a boy starts discovering hes gay and how would he react to his feelings?
What factors would make him more open or stay in the closet?


btw theres prolly like tons of other topics i could write about the book, but gayness is like oneo f the main ones and i dont want to re-read the book to find smaller ones.
But is this a bad idea? I'm like 60% sure my teacher is gay and would me writing a topic like this piss him off?

Dude, don't write about the gay boy. That's just...what everyone else is going to write about. Write about some under lying theme.

Seriously, if i was you, i wouldn't even read the book. I'd tell the teacher to get stuffed because there's no way someone is gonna make me read a book about some fag and his journey to become gay.

Pick a topic no one else is doing, and you automatically have no one the teacher compares your arguments too, and you win. Seriously, if the teacher has to read 20 papers on the same subject, then gets a fresh view and argument on something else, he is going to give that paper a better look, and probably a better mark.

If he is gay, and as long as you don't write a paper on how we should lynch homosexuals, he will surely haven o problems with you writing about homosexuals.
