High Runes, Trading and You!

Alright ladies and gents, I've been out of the loop for awhile now but started d2x again a few days ago already have 4 chars past 80 whats bothering me right now is trading, so for anyone who feels the same i would like to start up this thread with what's worth what.

I've come to the conclusion that most d2 players suck at haggling so when you try to negotiate with someone they just call you a ****ing newb and take off instead of working out a price that works out for both of you. but now im just ranting so if everyones up for it id say lets get this list of prices up.

so....


nigma - 2-4 hrs
dracs - 2-5 (depending on stats)
hoto - (not sure but i traded my 40 for 20 hrs today)
sojs - 3 hrs

continue the list if you want i need to gtfo... work.
i will update it next time i check in here.

im on uswest ladder and ive gotten a hoto for free , shitty resistance (31) but still free anyone know what a SS is worth on ladder SC?

I just started up again on useast ladder SC. I noticed all this trading for high runes. What I would like to know is where is everyone getting all these high runes. These used to be extremely rare. So, there must be some kind of dupe to make runes because they seem to be as common as a cracked sash.

In the old days when botting was the thing, people would bot for days on end without finding a high rune.

theyr almost all duped, what i did was lvl up a Hdin and just rush for forges. than i made a smiter who solos uber trist for torches, each unid torch sells for about 7-9 HRS.

i ebayed 32 organ sets for 10 bucks and on the second run i got perfect pally torch lol

On D1(when you actually USED gold) I worked hard to get like 100k and everyone loved me. Now on D2, you would say like, "I got 400k!!!" then some asshole would go "So? I have -some rare set or rune-"
Just pisses me off that the currency isnt WORTH anything.

if you want a game where currency is used go play MMORPGS, lienage2, wow(prety gay but w/e)

l2 is pvp based rly good game
