Hero Importance

I am going to talk about WC3 hero importance.

1. Level up your hero early. If you don't level up early then your oppent may have a good advantage on yah.

2. Skills. Think ahead about skills and always aim to get the lvl 5 skill as soon as possible. It may save your life. (starfall, earthquake)

3. Learn how to use the skills. Skills arn't good unless you know how to use them. Just think. Use earthquake when the oppenet is bottlenecked (and there is alot of bottle necking) and you may kill 60% of his forces.

4.Target there hero and save your. Heros cost alot so keep your alive and attempt to kill there if you see your winning the fight.

5. Hero Items. If you can disable there hero in some way (wand of wind) there goes there aura and there upper hand. Also keep scoll of protection, scoll of healing with your hero so you can get the upper hand in a battle.

6.Use your head. Your army may be gone but remember if you hero is strong (lvl 6 and above) you can take out alot of units.

u can tell an idiot whenthey call me a pussy because i saved my hero from death. now that fag got his ass kicked my way!! thankyou, thankyou!! Everyone who wants to succede, they need to know hero importance, and i have nothing to add, except that a hero is sonly as good as the army that backs him up. creeping will take 2 hours if its a lone hero. For example, viewing a replay, my enemy bullt a tauren hero, than attacked the creeps, he got owned, he had to revive, then he attacked the same ones by himself again. on the third time, he had concentrated on killing the creeps, so he didn't have a good resistance. i murdered him, and tried to defend with the hero who had just been in battle.

heros are important to me. Since i've been leveling them up i've noticed i've been winning alot more. Of course, I have motivation to get starfall. I think one thing that isn't mentioned in this thread is also knowing which hero is right for which games. For instance, going priestess against undead will make starfall useless since they can sleep her, so you should go a hero that won't be ****ed if they get put to sleep.

Skuzzy, u learned the hard way that sleep is bad when combined with undead. Mwahahahaha. also i think that the demon hunter is the only way to go against the undead. U know that the keeper also has a spell like starfall.

Some gosu undead player used spells from all his 3 heroes and killed a lvl 6 archmage in 1,5 seconds

What spells, undead spells usualy rock all races. vampuric act and infernal make dreadlord extremely powerful. deathknight with the unholy armor, and ressurect makes it good. lich isn't that great, if u get lv 6 the death and decay is usefull along with frost armor.

Nova is probarbly the best spell of the litch, it freezes half of the enemy's army...

7. - DON'T FEAR THE TOWN PORTAL

TP isn't just used to transport your troops to your opponents base, if you are losing a battle and your hero is near death and your army is losing. You're much better of TPing your hero out of that situation rather than fighting to the death and scrambling to build troops plus your hero to defend a counter attack.

I have a very nice stratgey for all Mountain King users and Tauren Chieftain users. Get 1-2 mana stones(can be boughten at goblin merchant i think...) and hopefully a generous creep will drop a pendant of energy. Get a lvl 3 thunderclap/warstomp ASAP, with MK get a archmage, even level 1 would be fine, with Brillance Aura and mk is the deadilest hero in the game, Chieftain is damn strong as well but with AM he doesn't compare to MK...i love this combo, total ownage in my opinion

then you my friend were playing a noob, and an army without a hero is just experience for the other player, if you lose your hero then youve probably already lost that engagement, if possible fall back if you have somewhat of an army left. And yes do target heros if your playing newbie players, cause goodd players will lead your whole army around in circles while getting free hits (called micro management ) if you have archers or riflemen or something ranged have them attack the hero and the melee tank for them.
