I played the first map, here's my opinion.
Sometimes I just like 'original' maps. Original as in none of those fancy stuff you can do now like square terrain, cool special effects, sprites, etc. I liked this map for that originality.
I suggest you to add more Supply Depots or have the starting Marine be the regular and everything else you build comes as heroes as heroes don't cost any supply.
Great map nonetheless. I haven't tried the second map yet, though.

Just tried (and finished) the first map.

It was fun. Great terrain, I gotta say ;D

It became more forcing then micro managment in the end though. With 8 upgrades, 7 marines, 1 ghost and the hero, I could just press A, right-click through the rest of the map, with an occasional health refresh.

The last boss, I just kept making marines. I had around 400 minerals, so that was easy.

+ Great terrain
+ Fun micromanagment, and good limit on units

- Became easy forceable around the time of the undead place.
- A few AI misses made it a bit to easy
- I couldn't find any other way besides a head-on attack to defeat the reavers. Head-on attacks should not be in micro managment maps! :3

Try making it a bit harder, limit the amount of upgrades to maybe 5 or something.

Else, good map :3

They were to expensive :3

And Reavers have equal range anyway. I sure couldn't find a way to damage it without taking a hit myself.

Maybe I just suck?

Siege Tanks in Siege Mode have a range of 12 matrix while Reavers have a range of 8 matrix. Yeah, they look equal to me.:ufo

>_>

<_<

Reavers can move though :3

I had one Siege Tank + the Siege mode upgrade when I reached the first reaver. Didn't have enough minerals to get more tanks.

A tank needs 4 attacks to kill a Reaver, and the most that I could get in before the Reaver hit me as well was 2.

= I still got hit.

Revers in the game have 255 armor and 2HP so it takes 4 hits to kill it no mater what.. try using ghosts or marines...

I tried, but I couldn't kill it without getting hit atleast once.

In a game that is about micro management, needing to force through (read: Just charging forward and killing) enemies is not supposed to exist.

Maybe have guardians instead? Goliaths with Charon Booster can hit and run them = micromanagement =D
