Well okay this is what happened, last night i was installing Window's Update and it was taking a long time so i restarted my comp and when i did, i only got up to the 2nd screen where it says on the bottom of the screen. "NTLDS is missing. Press alt-ctrl-del to restart."
My comp specs are:

It was probably installing an update when you did that...which means replacing some of those oh so important files.

I wouldn't recommend formatting beings I'm sure you have stuff on there you want to keep, but a fresh install would be a good idea. Just run windows installation WITHOUT formatting your drives...a reinstall would be a better word. All you lose is your installed programs and updates etc.

good think'n jd~ I would have told him to do the same :p My advice is after you get windows installed, backup all the stuff you want to keep, then format to start completly new. Or if you have some computer knowledge, instead of reinstalling windows then formating and installing again, just throw your harddrive in your bro's comp as a slave, back up all your pr0n and stuff to his harddrive, then format yours! :p

Or he can repar windows install when it say there are already a windows on this hd and select repair. Not the first repair option u get in the begin that will only get u 2 a dos prompt.

If u repair u will not lose anything cuz it only replace or repair inportant windows files. But if u have virus and trojans the bad part is they are still there 2.

Reinstall Windows XP, you have accidently deleted a file or caught a virus that is playing around with the files. Even if it means replacing you HD or something, then do IT!
