ok today i went to a local computer store to compare prices from newegg.com, and he told me the the radeon 9800 pro wouldnt work well with the nforce 3 mother board. Is that true, i know hemight be bullshiting me but i just wanna make sure.

This myth came from the idea that the nForce series of chipsets, made by nVidia, was thought to give nVidia cards an advantage or give their opponents a disadvantage. It was proven false as there were no evidence from benchmark that support the idea.
