uhh whenever i start up wc3... i get this error message:

Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:0306A6A8

The instruction at '0x0306A6A8' referenced memory at '0x0306A6A8'.
The memory could not be 'read'.


.............anyone know whats wrong?

Humm... Try re-installing the game. If it still doesn't work, post up your system specs, as this could be caused if your rig isn't good enough... You have at least 128mb of RAM?

uhh.. i tried re-installing like 5 times already.. my specs:

Vpr Matrix Pc
1.8 ghz p4
512 MB DDR RAM
60 GB HD
nVidia Geforce 2 MX 200



uh.. yeah... wth is wrong???????

Humm.... Looks pretty good. I've heard of people having problems with a GeForce 2 MX though... contact support@blizzard.com they're your best bet.

GeForce2 MX is way ok..... some use TNT2 cards to play WCIII. If you get this message, the memory are might be already in use. Close/disable all programs (in Win98) (including anti-virus software) except Explorer and Systray and try. Same with Win2000 and XP, close/disable all in task manager. If not, try checking for corrupted files (in Win98SE, Start>Accessories>System Tools>System Information>Tools>System file checker. This isn't really the best method, as it only checks changed files, which WCIII may change. Try re-installing Windows.....
