HELP!!!

Okay i have recently gone back to playin diablo lod on open. But whenever i try to join a game, i cant get it in to it. This has been happening since i was given a modded charm which screwed up my character while it was equipped, and i couldnt take it off. Thankfully i was able to destroy it with atma. But now i can rarely join a server! I asked tech support and he said to delete the bncache file after every session, but thats not working. HELP!

If I were you. I would delete D2 directory and reinstall game.

Can you join games with other characters? If yes, then your character is corrupted.

1 - Backup your savegame directory
2 - Remove all items from your character, then see if it works

else - Use a character editor to create a new character equal to your corrupted one.

I can play the game, its just that i cant join games on open. Ill try and see will another character work ( i only have one lol ) . Me and a friend of mine can never find a server we can play on, and he does hack. Would modded items have anything to do with it? Like the one i mentioned earlier about the charm that wouldnt let me do anything in the game and couldnt be takin off? If so how will i go about fixing it? Will i have to delete my character or the diablo 2 directory?

Just so you know i can play offline perfectly, and this has only been happening since i was given the charm...
