Help with warcraft III

hi, im new to the game warcraft III. i quit diablo II, because I was getting bored of it, and someone recomended this game to me... i play the orc alot but i have a problem, one battle.net i play people but i cant beat em. (i suck) :rofl2 ... well if someone expereanced can give me a good stratigy that works id apriceate it... THX ALL!!!

that doesnt help at all IMHO, all it is that its just another micro practice.

Just play on bnet, pointless playing with computers, they get like 2X more gold and stuff, and they're gay with their strats.

playing a computer is a good way to apply strategy seeing as how the computers army is very balanced

If you can beat a computer, you can probably beat half the players on random team =D

I can't beat an insane computer (the game goes on for hours untill I run out of gold and since that focker controlls all remaining mines I am screwed), still I win about 50% of my RT-games.

Insane computers do not represent a player on bnet, even a computer one. An insane computer mines 2x the gold you mine. Beating an insane computer means nothing.

Beating any computer doesnt say anything, when i first starter wc3 i coulndt beat an easy comp too, but just play custom games, look at strat guides, watch replays and practise a lot then u will eventually become good enough to win some. But if u want to be as good as 4K.Grubby, then u have to have no life, very easy parents and about 12 hours of warcraft a day for about 1,5 years.

playing campaing without cheating is easy, except the very last level but that one is also not impossible. If u need to cheat in campaign u suck

When I first started warcraft me and my two friends at the time couldn't beat an easy computer that's back when computers AI sucked and they wouldn't have a hero for like ever and a hero harass can win you the game..

I played an insane comp for fun and i noticed the following changes in from 1.07 to 1.17:

Mixed units (still sucks), attack injured, use spells to kill units not only heroes,try to move away injured units.
