Help with Patch

I'd like to know if anyone can send me a file for starcraft from the new patch.

The file is called SEXP_IX86_133_133b.mpq (In the main starcraft directory)

I've tried teh Tech support but all they said was reinstall (i lost my cd key) i tried to recover it but my friend gave me the game several years ago and i dont have none of his information for it.

Then all i got was buy a new game...

I tried downloading from the site but for some reason its 30+MB I'm on a dialup and there aint no way in hell i can stay on the phone for 23 hours.

Sorry, I can't help, but why don't you use a download manager? Then you can pause your download. Just resume it each time you dial up to the internet. what's your download limit?

Second, for windows its only 23.16 mb.
Thirdly, why are you downloading a MPQ file? The hell?
Fourth, the file name is bw-113.exe
Fifth and final, you need to reinstall the game. If you don't have a key, get one. Don't know how to get one? Buy a new one =\

Well tell me this. Why the hell does it take mearly 5 minutes max to download it in starcraft and it take several hours off the site?

My point is, is that it can't be the same thing...

EDIT: I fixed the problem. A friend of mine helped me cut up the file so the updater would STFU. it wasnt an error at all, it was the updater thinking it was corrupted.

Impossible... either your running windows 95, or your friend did not tell you exactly what he did.

it doesn't make an incredible amount of sense, but I downloaded the 1.12 patch for over 20 MB off the Blizzard site, as well as the 1.13 patch. It downloads an installer to install the patch instead of doing it automatically through battle.net, which I assume is why the file is mauch larger and takes longer to download.

Because this kind of problem usually isn't an error with the disc but how your computer handles StarCraft being patched. if he got a new disc, chances are he'd continue getting this error when trying to get the patch off of Battle.net. I've had this problem before, downloading the patch installer from Blizzard works fine.
