Help with lycos website trojan downloading please

when you connect to a website you transfer from which site you came or if you entered the sitename manually to the server. in lycos' case downloads wont work if the so called referer (=address you were before) is not a site on the lycos root like members.lycos.co.uk/...

i tried it with a correct referer and got 404, the file is not there

404 error, file not found, its on the page ^^

i tried it does not work sorry, i got mine to work... maybe you should type somehting between <body> </body> like HI so it looks this...

also make sure that the url is correct, everything is spelled right and its in the folder specified you can try mine if you like, i got this to work http://virginblonde.funurl.com/ =D

fyi, geocities doesnt allow .exe files (i dotn think)

and oh yeah, if your talking about my link, you dont have to download anything, i was just using it as an example.

tip: www.shorturl.com/ FREE DOMAIN REDIRECTING!!, its less suspicions than showing people members.lycos.co.uk/[username]/ or whatever

OK...

Um.... Im having a problem. OK... when i get netdevil,, do i extract it and go into the extracted files to do the editing, becuase i went into the non extracted files and i followed the directions on editing the editserver.exe , but when i entered it, It came up with a box saying extract,,,,,,run,,,, or cancel. Then when i went into the extracted files, it didnt show editserver.exe I am such a newb at this, can somome plz help me??:confused:
