Help with LAN

Hey! Anyone here good with Lan and setting them up. Heres the down lo. I have 2 computers and one router (D-Link). One can connect to it and has high speed internet but the other only SOMETIMES goes on battle.net and cannot acces internet and on ocasion can join with the one that works. Could andyone please lend me some advice!

first make sure there are no faulty wires and you are getting a full connection with the wires to the 2nd computer.

next make sure that the lan card in the 2nd computer is updated (drivers) and that it works correctly.

make sure your router has all the bios updated.

make sure you do not have a firewall running on the 2nd machine which is blocking the ports you need.

if you are then only have problems playing games, try forwarding the ports the games use through the router to the computer.
