Help with connetion problem :(

Here is my problem. I got home one day decided to go on D2 closed battle.net. I click on the link and it gives me this message after like 1 min

Unable to connect to battle.net

blah blah go to www.battle.net/support/errormessages.

Of course that site dosnt actually have anything on this topic. This has happend to me before (a long time ago) and it did go away in like 10 mins but now its been 2 :hbutt ing days and i really want to get on. I emailed support@blizzard.com but lmao of course they havent emailed me back yet.... Do any of you know anything that can ease my pain :shoot :scary

I found out how to fix this problem

First go start, run and open regedit. Then go under HKEY_CURRENT_USER, software, and delete the battle.net folder. Repeat the same process under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Finally if you had diablo running while you did this close it and re-open it to finally, finally get back on to battle.net. TRUST ME THIS DOES WORK I JUST FOUND OUT FROM BLIZZARD.

Well I having the same problem, I have been waiting all day for my ban to end, but it still doesnt connect. I was bad though, I got it cuz pindlebot overnight screwed up or something.Found it in morn trying to connect to bnet every 60secs. Anyways THANKS ALOT FOR FIX, I am going to try it now.

Edit: I usualy dont like messing with the registry like that but I am getting deperate to get back on. I have deleted battle.net in both locations. I still cant get on bnet. some kind of ip ban or something. Anyone else out there know how to get rid of this?

I did the whole thing with the registry and it still don't work, so i thaught mayby bnet ban my CDKey so i refilled it and still not working. I havn't played now for 4 days, and this wole thing has pissed me off so much I wanted to throw my computer out the window. I need help badly plz!

omg i had this same issue .. i couldnt play d2 forever .. and all i had to do was remove some registry entries lol

But i did delete the regestries for bnet, and still couldn't get on

this also happend to me. Can you guys logon to other servers? well im in USWEST, i couldnt connect to, it happend for like 2 hours still couldnt, i conneceted to anotehr like USeast, and went in and tried uswest after and still dun work, so i logged on to Useast and then quit diablo, i waited 5-10minutes went back in and conneceted to useast then conneceted to uswest back and it WORKED. try this method<--

Dont worry if you delete it it wont do anything bad it will come back every now and then and it dosnt matter if it is there or not so you know. Im sry that it didnt work for you but if what i said above dosnt work than i cant help at the moment sry

I'm thinking of maybe reformating my computer tonight just to get this game to work again (That how much I love D2 LoD... Taking the hours of the night to reformat...lol), but if it don't I'm sure im gonna throw my computer out the window...AFTER taking the LoD CD out
