Help plzzzz with uber smiter

Isn't a uber smiter basically a pally that uses smite??? And if it is can someone tell me the build for him and tell if what i'm usin good.
i am using,
-shako
-chains of honor dusk shourd
-grief 35/392
-eth exile (crap stats) 17 resist
-bk ring 3ll
-raven frost
-belt undecided
-goreriders
-metalgrid 34 resit

ya thats my gear but i don't know what stats to put into. So tell me if i'm doin good and is a 34 metalgrid for a Lo rune good. I'm in west ladder. And is a uber smiter good at crowd control o duelin or is he just good for killin ubers and bosses.?? thx

Str - enough for gear
Dex - 125 at lvl 99
Life - all the rest
Energy - None

Use a Phaseblade Grief, so their is no chance of it breaking.
Get arahnids Mesh belt (beleive thats the right one .... +1 to skill belt?)
IMO Enigma would be better, since smiters are not for crowd control.

Smiters are good for ubers, bosses, and pvp not for mass crowds.

get enigma, coa, and an up'd hoz.
Also..verdungos is a better choice than spider....adds 15% DR and 40 Vita..

Oh ya and if you have a exile do you have to add any points into defiance???

Yes, but u dont need to use the arura becuase of the exile

Also.....use fanatism arura....i dont think Conc works for smite....hammers tho

Build a smiter same as a zealer, only use add points to smite instead of zeal.

max out:
Smite (main attack)
Holy Shield (for def)
Fanaticism (main aura)
Defience (as a synergy to Holy shield for def)
+ preregs
all else put into something for mass killing like zeal, since you have the rest of the build

Stats:
Strength - enough for gear (about 90 before + to str)
Dex - 125 (at lvl 99)
Life - all the rest
Energy - no need with decent gear

Concentration DOES NOT WORK for smiters
+ skill gear is key

Gear:
Enigma, or Chains of Honor Runeword
Exile (or HoZ if exile is too rich for you)
Grief Phase Blade, BotD Zerker (or anything else that is unbreakable)
Gore Riders
Shako, Dream Runeword
Arachnids Mesh, (+skills) Verdungos (damage reduction)
Dracul's Grip, (for lifetap) or Magefist (for mana)
2x Bul Ring, 2x Stone of Jordan Ring, or 1 of each ( if this is too rich go with angelics Amulet, and 2x Angelic rings)
Highlords Amulet, Maras, Metalgrid (Highlords for skills, Maras for resists, Grid for def) your choice
Call to Arms & Spirit Monarch on switch (for Battle Orders)

How does Concentration not work for Smite? Sure it's much slower and weaker than Fanaticism, but it does work.
