Help Plz

I have D2 and one day when i was playing on battlenet it tweeked. I had to take the game off the computer and whenever i try to reinstall it i get the message:
d2l_Install
This application has encountered a cricical error:
ERROR #131 (0x85100083)
Program C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\D2L_INSTALL.EXE

Click OK to terminate application
I have LOD but i cant even get to that point of installnig it . I have been looking everywhere to try to solve this problem but i cant find anything on it and blizzard support was crap and didnt help at all. Any help would be greatly appreacated.

Call blizzard help line. theyve never let me down. Ive even been discconnected froma call with them and they called me back... 1-949-955-1382 is the number. I personally have never found the automated support to be helpfull...
