Help PLZ!!!! problem loading wc3

when i click on play warcraft it starts its load up but then stops and i get this msg, "warcraft III was unable to initialize directx. please ensure you have directx 8.1 or newer installed and that your display drivers are current. directx may be found on your warcraft III install cd under options." .... I have the latest version of directx but it is still not working.... any help?

Are you absolutely sure you got the version? When I had a problem, like 2 weeks ago.. I thought I had the best version... but I forgot that I reformatted my computer and I forgot...

i have radeon 9200 series, and i downloaded directx like 5 times its the latest 9.0

go to the 9200 website and make sure you have all of the latest drivers, and then reinstall the latest directx

If it still doesn't work go to the radieon support forums.
