Okay, i'll try to help you sir/ma'am (whichever). Gally called upon me to help you, and I never mind helping.
Firstly, just so you know, be careful with mewgood. They've been known to have viruses.
Secondly, I'm not sure what you mean by "item map"...but, if you mean that you want to import an item that you downloaded onto your character, that I can probably help you with. This can only be done on open bnet though.
So basically, if I recall correctly, you download the items, and unzip them wherever you want. Then go download an editor..I prefer zonfire (it's really easy). Load up a character in zonfire, and goto the inventory tab. Right click somewhere on the inventory...and click on something like "import item" or something. I don't know exactly because I'm on linux...so i'm trying to do this out of memory. Anyway, goto the directory where your items are located, and choose them. They will then be in your inventory box on zonfire. Goto file and save, and exit out. Reload your character in diablo and they should be there.
