Help me with my sorc

I just wanna know what skills and what type of a sorc is best for dueling and stuff i am lvl 12 right now and i have saved all of my skill points thx

d00d there is a strategy section.

but if you want my opinion, make an orber for dueling. orbers are good at PvP and PvM, and they are simply fun to play on in general.

there are 2 kinds of orb sorcs, damage absorbing (energy shield) ones and cold mastery ones. The difference is that with the damage absorb one you put 5 pts into cold mastery, and the rest into telekinisis and energy shield. With the cold mastery one, you simply max cold mastery.

Blizz sorcs do the best cold dmg, fire sorcs are the gayest sorc duelers ive seen, and light sorcs can be "ok" in a duel...i got my money on cold

I think a Melee sorc would be cool in duels. I personally got my assed owned many times from one lol.

its very expensive gear but gotta love that fire dmg with enchant ^^ i made a chantress on hc for my freiends who make new chars, she chanted them to 4k dmg and chanted herself to 14k ^^

For u mr.sloth, its been awhile since i played d2,so sorry if i get minor things wrong,like skill names etc


For your melee enchantress(assuming u want pvp)
Stats-Enought strength for gear
Dex:try to get enough for max block with SS,if u dont wanna waste alot of dex,use the rune in the ss that adds 15% blockage(i think its eld or el)
Vita:this should be ure main stat,pump this
Energy:enough to tele around in duels,along with casting enchant and some other skills


Items -
Shako(40/15 ias is good)
Valor(+skills is nice,along with the hp)
Sojs(adds mana wich is nice,the +skills is god too)
Ammy: try to get a rarw +2 or 3 fire skills ammy, along with some resists
Boots:you may think im wrong,but if u want dmg use war travlers
Gloves:good ias gloves
Belt:String of ears
Charms:anni is a must,along with some +fireskill charms,and some small +20 hp charms
Weapon:botd zerker,along with lidless+cta on switch

Skills : Max enchant along with its synergies
with leftover skills,put 1 into tele,and rest into mana shield


For you proto blade,fire sorcs are best duelers,assuming by ure post it seems ure not extreamly rich,so just try for the basic sorc gear,occy/shako/tals/etc and make a fireball dueler

i personally think a light sorc is best.... i've never seen one lose.... but gear seemd quite expensive... especially the griffons eye....


i want to see a sorc with 1 mana cost tele and use thunderstorm... thatd be sooo coool...would it work?

maybe....i personally have beaten many a light sorc but i have never actually made 1...i should do that soon...time permitting.

They are fun, except for lightening immunes, they r so hard by the way ifu do, consider using a crescent moon sword?... crescent moon=rune word, but u might be better off /w something else... hmm..

in pvp,fire sorcs > blizz sorcs tatu,fireball = 3x ffaster attk speed,and with the right gear,almost 2x much dmg
