Help Me Please...

Okay, I just baught the Warcraft III: Battlechest and I am currently trying to install it, well I come into thise error over and over again, I don't get it. I have taken screen shots of it and here they are... I am on a PC but it says in the error (Mac) for some reason, there is no options of what to install or anything like that I don't believe. Here are the screen shots...

Make sure your disc isn't scratched or dirty

It is brand new, it came right from the case into the the cd drive... I don't get it, theres nothing wrong with the disc, I checked like 10 times.

try using alcohol or clonecd to make a disc image to see if it find any errors

It is really a disc error. And the idea to make a cloned disc and try is good. However a cloned disc may not me recognized as original.

Should I try and return it? I just got it, it is brand new.

just return it and get a new one, most stores will either refund you or give you another one. try it with diff one and if it still persists it must be your comp..also make sure you didnt grab one for mac

Blizzard games on cd are always for PC and MAC on the same disc

Did you try installin again? If you did, and if it still happenedd, then you should dl CloneCD off net, and use your cd key then install.

Btw I dont think TFT clone cd works, didnt work for me =/

Have you sacnned the read-me for information on this problem? But, yeah, I think the best thing to do is try and return it for a new one for now.

As i said, a clone may not be recognized as original. The idea tp return it is good, there you can have more help.

Thanks guys, I am returning it now... I pray to god the error doesn't persist any further. Thanks for your help and I may need more if the new disk doesn't work
