Help me please.. just a few questions bout diablo LOD and battle.net.

at the moment i have a version of diablo 2 LOD and it was preowned and there for i cant play on battle net. i have started a character and was wondering if i bought a new diablo LOD cd would i be able to copy my saved game uninstall the preowned version, install the new version upload my character and play on battle net with him???

You cant play singleplayer chracters on Closed bnet(closed is legit,no super hacked items/chars)

Though,if u want you can play singleplayer chars on open bnet,but its full of hacked characters/items

umm so your saying i can play on bnet but only where there are haxors..

If you want to use your singleplayer characters,yes.

But,on closed bnet you have to make a new char,and u can only use it on closed,where there are pretty much no hackers

Once you start up diablo, go to (i beleive) Battle.net [its the one directly under single player] You can also select your realm (from east/west/asia/europe) Most people on battleforums play us east fyi. From there go to the create new account and fill out your info and whatnot, then you can make a new character (ladder is relatively fresh fyi).
