Help me get back to Map Making

Please guys help me get back into making maps for starcraft. I used to do it all the time and now that I have a comp agagin I want to start. I currently have SCMDraft1 and 2. I also have SCXE-2.6. Now what I need to know is how to createthe ultimate fast map for battle.net. I forgot everything and need your help. I used to create some awsome maps so please help me. Any advice will be greatly appriciated so please help me out guys!!! Thanks in advance for all of your help.

It got me back into map-making, if it doesn't get you back into it. Then i am not Renzokuken!

The best way to create a melee "Fastest" map is to download Starforge 2.0 and use the stack option for stacking minerals right on top of each other. Place one mineral field, then highlight it, right click on it, and select stack.

You can use square terrain too, which will make it ubER fast!

Don't be a newb by making a money map and make a good diffucalt and challenging map with ONLY STAREDIT! :tnt :angry

thanks guys I am only making a fast one for a friend not for me. I like the hard and challenging ones but as for the fast map I stack using starforge but It never shows up in game. Does anyone know how to do this

First, make sure your using Starforge 2.0.

Also, I went into Starforge, and I placed a mineral patch and stacked it 10 times. I then placed a start location only for me with a map revealer.

When I tried to save the game, you may not have noticed, but it said this:

"One or more resources in the map do not belong to Player 12. These units will disappear if the map is played in melee mode. Would you like Starforge to give these resources to Player 12?"

Perhaps you had this problem? Make sure to click "Yes" when this pops up.
