So my Razr finally crapped out on me, woke up this morning half an hour late for work, checked why my phone didnt go off, and its dead. Pulled the battery out and put it back in, and the screen is dead. This is the second one to have the screen die on me (first one lasted maybe 2 months, this one lasted 3 1/2 years)

So, its time for me to go find a new cellphone, until then im stuck with using this razr w/o any screen (well, until i go borrow my brothers spare, its a cracker jack phone though >.>)

Thing is, i knew I'd have to get a new one soon, my phones been on the fritz for the past year, but i could never find anything that i really liked, so now that i -have- to get one, figured id ask for some help

What im looking for:
I dont Text message, i dont surf the net on it, its simply used to make calls, maybe text 1-5 times a month, and take a picture at random times here and there, mostly, its only used for what it is, a phone.

Price:
I'd prefer to only spend 200 or less on it, but if i really like one i guess i could go higher. I'd appriciate it if i could get a "Low budget" and "High budget" option, so i can decide if i want the higher up one that much

Specs: Theres only one key factor for me, i REALLY like flipphones, i was considering getting an L7 but i hate that its not a flipphone. I'm open to suggestions, but atm flip = prefered.

with that said, show me whats out there!

If you use it to call 1-5 tmes a month, maybe youdon't really need a cellphone.

Just buy one of those like 30$ go-phones.

ive thought about it a little more, and ive come up with a few more things id like to have:

1. im not really interseted in an iphone, too expensive, too "OMG LOOK AT ME IM COOL!"

2. id like a phone with wifi access (connect to public wifi and surf the net)

3. id like the web surfing to be comfortible, if that makes any sense

4. id like a form of AIM/MSN/YAHOO/Trillian compatibility if i get wifi

5. I dont need, but would enjoy a camera on it if possible

sadly, so far all i can find really IS the iphone, im looking at "Iphone killers" but i cant really find any that are supported in the US (i dont wanna get one thats built for japanese markets, where i find issues with support and software)

Just get a blackberry as Prof suggested, and make sure your phone plan isn't ****ty.

Pay as you Go is not a really good plan personally. Because if you use your phone 1-5 times a month, you will lose all the money you attached to your account in 1-2 months.

i considered the blackberry, but im really not a big fan of all those buttons, i want a cellphone, not a PDA D:

i use the phone on a daily basis, im always having to keep in contact with the other techs/boss

as far as carrier goes, its goign to be Tmobil (i can unlock the phone if necessary) so i have to get one that accepts sim cards (no verizon/sprint only phones)

according to the details you've provided and your obvious pickiness. LoL. I suggest you make completely new phone out of scratch.

my goodness you're picky.

Jus go and call those providers and tell them exactly what you want. They're the experts more or less.
