Help.. ip banned

how long does it take for the ip ban to where off? because i got ip banned at 6 pm lastnight and im still ip banned..:hbut

If it's your first time 24-48hrs, if it's your 2nd 48-72hrs, if it's your third can last up to 2 weeks. If you got your 3rd strike and get banned after that, than they can take your key and or account with it.

[Causes]
Using any 3rd party program warden didn't like.
Messing with battle.net's servers in a way other than designed.

If this is caused by doing something that gave you R/D, than it will most likely only last 24-48hrs.

[CAUSES]
Changing characters too fast.
Creating/Joining games too fast.
Invalid logon due to invalid packet structure, AKA using a bot.
Sending invalid packets or too many packets too fast.

If I missed anything I am sure someone else will add to this list.

Time frames are based on an average scale. They may not be 100% accurate. They are rounded off in hours based on a full day.

Depends on the severity of the threat. My friend Dream_walker got banned fro 30 days for using easymap. But you can always use a proxy to change your IP address so you can bypass the "ip ban". However, I think it is also CD Key related, but I am not sure about that.

I have the same damn message, and its lasted for around 13 hours now and im on my break and its pissing me off, will someone please explain how to change my IP? I have comcast and tried unplugging my router but it still gives me that message. "Your connection is temporarily restricted from this realm."

please tell me how to change my IP either with a program or my comcast router

it all depends on waht exactly your talking about.


does it say realm down, or does it say you have been restricted?

if your key is banned, youll either get unbanned after a month, or else ur screwed for good

if your just IP banned, change your IP and youll be set [reconnect to the net]
