I dont think anyone has had this problem before, or atleast made a topic about it.

But heres my problem:

My Warcraft 3 Reign oF Chaos CD is corrupt. When its about to finish installing war3.mpq, it says its been corrupt, and it stops me from installing it.

My bro's comp had war3.mpq fully so i transfered it to my comp and tried to make a folder called "Warcraft III" in program files, then i put in the war3.mpq in there to see if it will actually skip that file since its already done.

But, it kept saying "Warcraft seems to already been installed" when its just war3.mpq in there.

Is there anyway how i can just skip the file war3.mpq and put it in right after the install is finished?

Or, is there anyway how i can just skip that file like what diablo 2 does, you can just click "Ignore" and it skips that file. How do we do that in war3?

Please answer my 2 questions =)

When you install does it install anything to Warcraft 3 folder cause if it does install everything except war3.mpq then after it is done installing just put war3.mpq in the folder.

Try what auron said, if it still causes the problems, then its probly your scratched disk, happens on my BW :(

guess you'll have to buy another one like me, its a lesson for us all to learn, always keep CD's in good condition.

Either you have a scratched disk, you have a burned copy, or you DO have a corrupt mpq file. You need to replace the CD or wipe the surface. I wiped the surface and it fixed my D2 CD!
