Help can't connect to bnet

When I try to join a game it show the guy standing in front of the door, but nothing happens and after awile it says failed to join game. I have talked with blizzard support about this but they ended up being no help at all really, just kept telling me the same thing in the faq, which I tried and it did not work (I have even tried unblocking manually every last port mentioned). I have even tried installing someone elses cd's to see if that would affect it. It did not. Please someone help! Because I can not figure it out!

No, I have tried it with XP firewall off and my trend micro pccillan firewall off.

What kind of Internet connection do you have, mr.MCR?

cable (lan) so it is not lag, would trying to run it off of a clean boot help?

I got the same problem when i actually get in a game it lets me play for 5-10 mins then kicks me out. I have dsl from telus and they were no help either.

Are you trying to get into open or closed battle.net? That happens all the time in open due to hacked char files.

I wish I could help you, guys, but your problem sounds weird. From time to time the same thing happens to me in two different ways:

A. I use a 64 graphics card and I get D2 errors quite often, especially when I join full baal runs with necros and druids. Sometimes, after I get one of those errors, I log on D2 without problems, I connect to b-net but I fail to join any game. In cases like this I restart my computer and the problem is solved.

B. Sometimes my DSL wireless modem looks connected but its not. In cases like this I go to Start/Connect to/Wireless Connection. I click Disable, then Enable, I log on to D2 and the problem is solved.

I have no idea if the above have anything to do with your problems but that's the best I can do so far.
