Good evening, or morning to some. It's been a long time since I've last posted here...too long. To those who aren't too sure who I am, its me, PauseBreak. (I'm trying to get that user name back). I'm kind of drunk and sentimental =\
Let me catch you all up quickly;
Joined the army some 3 years ago (I've seen and done a lot!) and I have roughly a year and some change left. I've been to Iraq (15 months) and I'll probably be going again, if not to Afghanistan for another year.
I'm stationed in Hawaii and it is absolutely beautiful. However, I am not a big fan of summer all year round. I love my autumn and winter. Must be a Wisconsin thing?
I'm still, and always, will be following SC and Diablo. I wish I had the time to help out with the sections but work really takes up a lot of time. Especially since I am in the infantry we are always in the field. In fact, I really don't spend a lot of time with games any more. Its kind of sad.
I've wrote an album on my guitar for my army brothers. Its a pretty big hit, probably because its all depressing. lol. I've also bought a good camera and I've been taking a lot of pictures and really getting into a lot of different techniques. Its a lot of fun and takes my mind off all the bs that we put up with.
What else. My friend back home joined the Navy and I haven't seen him in 3 years, basically since I joined. And now he's in Hawaii and we hang out a lot, its nice to have a bit of home here.
Still no g/f. It really doesn't bother me because it will just save me a headache while I'm deployed and I wouldn't want to put anyone through the shit of me not being around ever.
I can't wait until my contract is fullfilled, I am very much looking forward to school. I'm hoping to get enrolled at the University of Madison, WI. I'll be playing a lot of catch up but that's alright. Seeing where I am now, I have truely seen why an education is a good thing to have. I'm sorry I pissed most of my high school away.
As for everyone here I really do miss shooting the shit with you all. I've spent a lot of holidays and events here. I've been through many laterial shifts and changes. Not that anyone really knows who I am nor have "missed" me but I do see that there are lot of old timers here and that's good.
Maybe I'll make a few cuts and find some time for this place again. Well, it was a nice chat. I hope everyone is going good and is healthy. I'll pop in again tomorrow and see what's happening.
