Hellfire and Gradius

I dunno why, but the sidescrolling spaceship blasting games really do it for me. After pending countless hours blasting shit down in Gradius, I can pull out hellfire, and do the same shit for the next six hours. Both games are essentialy amazing, each unique to its own. however both games remain addictive. So put down your high tech Playstation 2 and Xbox, and take a nostalga trip back to the days when the Arcade didn't suck.

The Raiden series is still one of the best series like that out there. Raiden > Gradius.

Althoug R-Type was the shit too.
