Heimdal, I think you should put Starforge (the first version that came out) back on your website so people can protect their maps from the unprotector. I still have it so that I can make COMPLETELY protected maps.

I realize that there are about 2 or 3 other topics like this in this forum, but I just thought this might get Heimdal's attention better. Put something by it like: Use this Version only to protect maps. Warning: Even you cannot open protected by starforge. I would also reccommend using something that lets a person enter a password when they protect a map, so that they can unprotect their own map if they forget to make a saved copy w/o using starforge

I hope you understand this :)

The save routine in the new version of starforge is exactly the same as in the old version.

Currently, maps saved by starforge (even the "final" savemode) will be openable in StarForge. This will change in the future. These maps (final) are, however, not openable by any other program, as far as I know.

I have some major plans as far as protection goes...I've already discussed them in other forums so I don't really want to go over them again. Just know that it will be the most comprehensive and advanced system available.
