This character build is more well-known as the Medic [holy bolt + prayer paladin] - with hammers for offensive purposes. The healer is a descent name although the build is usually referred to as the medic.

%to block=(%block on shield+bonus from skill)*(dex-15)/(clvl*2)

There is your max block formula. As you can see 125 is not the generic max block because clvl does come into effect.

There is no strategy / indication or help at all of how to use this medic and no helpful tips.

Usually people can make effective medics without utilizing any enigma, so it'd be good to give at least 1 other option of each item... sometimes 2..3..4..5 other options.

My best guest is you are using this in team pking because you do use maras which is a mid-level item to help you get to an enigma without using any str until then - which kinda makes any pvm worthless. If it IS pvp, you need an even more in depth strategy than if it were pvm.

If they can't afford combats? whats a good option for charms to benefit the character? Same thing applys with enigma, arachnids, hoz, cta, etc.

I'ma go ahead and give you the basic paladin breakpoints to include in a second version. Gives the reader something mathematical to look at rather than "here's my build. make it"

Max Block formula:
%to block=(%block on shield+bonus from skill)*(dex-15)/(clvl*2)

Fast Cast Rate formula:
0% fcr - 15 frames
9% fcr - 14 frames
18% fcr - 13 frames
30% fcr - 12 frames
48% fcr - 11 frames
75% fcr - 10 frames
125% fcr - 9 frames
(*note: This fast cast rate breakpoint table applies to those who are wondering how little frames a paladin can get teleport. This table is not the table for FOH because there is a timer on this skill)

Faster Block Rate:
Without Holy shield:
0% fbr - 5 frames
13% fbr - 4 frames
32% fbr - 3 frames
86% fbr - 2 frames
600% fbr - 1 frame

With Holy shield:
0% fbr - 2 frames
86% fbr - 1 frame

Fast Hit Recovery:
0% fhr - 9 frames
7% fhr - 8 frames
15% fhr - 7 frames
27% fhr - 6 frames
48% fhr - 5 frames
86% fhr - 4 frames
200% fhr - 3 frames

--------------------------------

Its a good start. Spend more time on it - make it easier to read - give strategies - more helpful information - and then its a guide.

Or call it a Uselessadin. Sorry. I cant see where a Healer would do any good. This ISNT FF11 where the White Mage is EVERYTHING. This is Diablo. The best defence is a good offence..

Haha, it's funny you brought that up. Specially since I just quit FFXI to get back into D2. I still use FF acronyms, abreviations, and such.

And yes, I don't see Healer/Medics becoming Godly like any Mages for that matter as FFXI was. :goofy

Ya, when I played FF11, I had a level 33 White Mage. I quit leveling it, cause the only reason I got the game was to become a Summoner. I got to level 20 and got Ramuh, than I got bored. It is kinda fun, but it is the same stuff over and over. Bah, and it costs money.

Oh, while we are on the topic of off-beat biulds, how about this. A Wolverine biuld:

+Life Replenish
Helm: 20
Ring1: 10
Ring2: 10
Belt: 10
Armor: 20
Wep: 15
Shield: 20
Ammy: 15
Boots: 5
Gloves: 5

This adds up to 130. Thats 13 HP regenerated a second. Hurray, your Wolverine from the Xmen. You heal super fast. Ahahaha. I only looked at Perfect Skulls and Magic Items for this biuld. Their may be Unique items better for it. If so, post, or dont, this is stupid. Ahahahaha...
