Head Phone Plugins

You know how there is two places to plug in head phones? The front and in the back. While i bought a head set today and it breaks up into two different wires. One being the microphone one and the other being the head phones, so i plugged them into their right spots in the back. The microphone worked but the head phones didnt. How can i get it to work?

are you sure you plugged the headphone one into the right jack? it should not go into the headphones spot but instead into the speaker out spot. basically you have speakers and a mic on your head.

if it doesnt work after you re-checked and put it into your speaker out, open your case and look for the cable that transmits the speaker out data and put it onto the speaker out thingy from the inside and then connect.

Headphones should be in line out.

By the way where did you get them and what model are they? I've been thinking about getting something like that.

I did that but isnt there a way i can have the computer speakers plugged in and the headphones plugged in?

Yes...there is...you need an adaptor that looks like this:

try radioshack...
