Having trouble logging into account..

Hey Guys,

As you can tell, I dont post much. But I read like theirs no tomorrow. Anyway, I am having trouble logging onto my accounts on US West. I play west, Sc, NL. I can log onto east just fine and paly on it. My internet connetion is working fine on every site I try. When I try to log onto my west account, as soon as I click on "west" a screen comes up as says, Unable to connect to Battlenet. You must enable your modem..blah, blah, blah. I do not use any hacks, no MH, no bots, no nothing. I dont spam the chat channels or anything. This has me stumped. I tried our other computer that has D2 installed on it with its own seperate CD key and it does the same thing. I can log onto east, but not west! This has been going on now for like 2 whole days. I have went to the battlenet forums and read a bunch there and it appears that some others are having the same problem. Is any one here having this problem. If so, what did you do to get back onto your west accounts.

Sorry for the long post. Any help or if you can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it very much.

I think it's just a Realm Down message...but since I've never played Diablo I'm only guessing.

This is a realm down error. This error is caused by many different reasons. The most common is logging in too many times too fast, or by creating games too fast. By logging in too many times, I mean by changing characters alot by either just changing them to play on them or muling. This is a very big offense for battle.net cause it causes a large amount of stress on there servers, so they do punish harshly for this. I would suggest you wait another day, if it is not fixed I would email them at Support@blizzard.com and explain them the situation.

The reason your not getting a normal R/D screen, is cause your connection to the realms has been blacklisted by your IP and CDKey. The only way to manually fix this is to change both, by either the use of a proxy and key changer, or by changing realms which is not worth any of the above. Just wait the 48-72 hours and like I said email them they will unblock you and let you back on. This is mostly done to prevent bots, and is very effective, but they give leiency if you contact them personally.
