Having Multiple Chr's at once?

Hi, sorry if this is way too common a topic, but I'm a brandnewbie. I wanna control a second character in the game so I can transfer around my items. I think if I install a second program to my comp, I can do it - but it won't let me. I try to use alternatives like add/remove programs, accessing the install file directly, and even installing it to a blank folder instead of the directory - but its too smart, and keeps detecting an install already present. I can usually do this with my other games.... how do I go about this?

Looks good! I'll try it. Only I have read at various boards that blizzard can detect free cdkeys and will ban you. Or is this just company retoric?

well, blizzard detects fake cdkey when you're trying to connect, but they won't ban you. They won't let you connect at all. You will need 2 legit sets of cdkeys (for LoD) in order to run 2 copies of D2. This is for battle.net only tho.

Problem - the gamers2k4 link doesn't work. I found where you found this listing and tried some of the mirror sites and stuff - nothing works for completing step 1 of the instructions. Please help!
