Lockerz is a membership only site. It's free, but you have to be invited by another member.

Yeah I've had about twenty friends try to invite me. It's just the newest scam, get a job.

It's real as far as you get 2 point for logging in each day and answering a question ( usually something like " what book do you want to see in a movie?"). An iPod Nano is 180 points. At start you get around 20points - so for 3 months if u log in everyday you get it. There is also a lot more prizes that have prices like 7500 points but i have no idea how to get so many.

The system is set up *partially* like a pyramid scam, in that you get points for invitations, and 20 invitations gets you vip status and more points and such.

It isn't a scam so long as they never ask for any real personal information and don't require payment.

Plus most of the site hasn't been launched yet.

If they get money from advertising and for the results of those question lists, then it doesn't really have to be a pyramid scam. That doesn't prove that it isn't a scam, but at least that they aren't making money off their members directly.

Scam implies that you are losing out by being tricked. I see no way we are being tricked into giving away our money. If all they make off us is advertising, that isn't a scam in anyway.

But the thing is you become VIP by inviitng 20 people. In the exact same way as a pyramid scam, There will always be a point of stagnation when there isn't enough people to invite.

It's funny about the cost of points for certain items.

All video games are 100pts, yet PS3 games sell for around 70$, Pc games $50 and wii games $30-$40. The best value is to get a PS3 game. Skull candy headphones, particularly the ones that are 125 points are easily $60 and the 175 ones are easily $100.

What is the most interesting to me is a 300 pound gift card is 500 points, which would net me $500 roughly translated. Yet a PS3/360 specifically cost far less but require more points (125 and 175 more points respectively).

I need to figure out what items are the highest values, and grab them when in stock.
