I haven't been able to test it multiplayer since some extensive revamps. Period. I'm now in college, living in a dorm, and the firewall here is utterly restrictive--and, unfortunately, does not allow me to host games over Battle.net. So, there might be a few bugs multiplayer, but it should still be fun. If you post some bugs or send me some messages, I'll attempt a fix.

Anybody want to try it out? It takes a little bit of learning, but if you read, it shouldn't be any problem. Please don't open it and distribute it after checking it out; the colors have been redone both for kicks and because of computer alignments (two computers have the same color because one is neutral and the other is your ally--you'll see in-game). However, there are several triggers in this map that somebody could find useful, so if you're into map-making and want some ideas, you might be able to get some help off of this map.

I'm warning you though--before you open my map, know what you're getting into! By no means am I a tidy map-maker.

And one last note of caution--I don't make maps easy. If, for some reason, you want to make my map easier, INCLUDE YOUR NAME with a "Made easier by:" preceding it and I will be happy. Learn to play it first though before you either dis it or make it easier. Those with half a brain willing to learn and with a personality that enjoys defending a base have almost always enjoyed playing my previous version of this. Even my friend, who hated Starcraft, liked the map.

And yes, I didn't protect it on purpose--knowledge should be shared, not hoarded away. If this map helps people learning triggers, even if they have to dig through it, I'll be happy to have helped.

Didn't you make OMFG the Firebats? If so, it was too hard, and horribly rigged for terran. I've edited it, but i'm not done with it, so I won't add my name in just yet.

Firebats too hard? Nonsense!

Aye, sure did. I gave up on it after awhile though. But, if you're interested, I did beat it on the utter insanity mode before, even though the 6 battlecruisers spawning super firebats came and six nearly invincible super firebats came and so on. Well, I beat it twice--once with four spires remaining, and once with half of my base. How many attempts, you ask? Hrmmm...100? 200? Dunno.

If you're modifying it, what version do you have? My latest version has a difficulty meter for choosing in the beginning, although I haven't modified the game at all lately.

If its an earlier version, I beat it by using ultralisks and by using cannons. The cannons were dang hard to win with though--I believe I ran around the screen for a few minutes at the end.

Finally, if you really want to modify it badly, I would suggest using the beacons at the bottom for upgrading to super units for ALL possible units. Also, take off the SST music in the end if you want--you'll only encounter it at the end of the hardest difficulty. I made this map back when I didn't understand just how much people hated downloading.

As for why I didn't modify this myself, I just didn't feel like taking the time to--lately, I've been doing some programming and am pretty much trying to finish Starcraft up since I don't believe I'm going to play it or any computer game much more. I haven't really touched a computer game for more than an hour (other than to finish this map and a harder Warcraft 2 map I made, haharr) since starting college, in fact. After all, the programming is what's going to help me on my job resume for an internship, not game playing.

Here's my latest version. I think its fully functional, but I haven't looked at it in awhile. I'll take a look at it after my post.

And, just an added thought, but my maps are MEANT to be hard. I think it is rather sad how almost every map is incredibly EASY, and take no skill whatsoever to beat. Why play a map that is easy to beat over and over again? I feel sorry for the person who doesn't find that playing an easy map continuously can be mindnumbing.

And lastly, I DON'T make my maps rigged. That's why, if you've bothered to even check my latest version--which you haven't, as the download ticker says--I added in all races for each player. And, if you think it is still "rigged" in some way, then why are you making it "unrigged" if you think it is too hard?
