any 1 play harcore? im wanting to play but with a group of people to stop me being pk'd lol. wondering if any hardcore groups will let me join them.

It happens to teh best of us. I like HC but I don't really like having to lose my character at level 50+. Especially when you get to Gally's level.

That's the only reason why I don't play HC: I don't mind the challenge, it's just losing everything over one death. It seems a little pointless to put so much work into a character and lose it all so fast - and quite often from lag.

Battle.net even recommended you have a strong connection before you dare venture the land of hardcore.

Plus, there is the threat of PKers and PvPers.

lol my char just died from hc. but mayb under galatia's wing ill survive lol.
u pkor killed me, but hopfully if im in gallys group i can level with them instead of public games.

i think i made like 3-5 cahrs
all died with in minutes. i think 1 lived up till act 2 but then died b/c an asshole blocked in maggot place and i died:frustrate

Seriously, though, if you need any help with the d2 engine in general ask me instead.

Thats an issue with your internet. HC is for hardcore people who can handle it obviously. It is tough, but it's way harder then SC. :rollie

The only threat in the Maggot Lair are the Beetles if you have crappy lightning resistance.

Most of the characters I made can survive that, especially my lightning sorc.
