Anyone who plays Halo 2 needs to make some videos on glitching, montages (you powning people), tactics, and everything. Use your capture card and make some videos and then post them on this forum.

Hook me up with a capture card then, or why don't YOU make smoe videos, or just go to www.putfile.com and watch montages.

Actually in a few days- a week or two I will be bringing a bunch of videos to this site.

THE POINT IS to have videos and more content on the forum so that more people come to this forum and use it. If you see any videos on putfile or any other forum make a new thread and post them on this forum. This will give more content for members to view and also more of a reason for other people to come to this site.

Gotcha, I still need a video card though, can you get them at places like the Source or Future Shop?

They are well worth the money.

Is there some sort of external capture cards? All that I see are cards that are for computers.

Im sure there is, but theyd be more expensive than an internal computer one.

You mean like an external HDD? I doubt it, cuz you need storage to put the footage into, if there was, it'd be incredably expensive - just get a ATI All-In-Wonder series card, they do it all for a good price ($100 upwards).

All I know of are internals and ATI All-In-Wonder series card is a great one that I think also works as a great video card and is pretty cheap. basically you are going to want to install the card then instead of wiring your xbox straight to your Tv you will wire it to the capture card and then in the output of the card hook that to your Tv and it will record the entire game (or start and stop the recording), but you will edit it so you just have the good stuff later on.

I really do think this will help battleforums.com out ALOT. im getting my videos ready and will hopefully have them up in about 2 weeks but then again i am VERY busy right now. Im hoping instead of people asking questions about halo people will show off what they know about it and show off tricks, glitches, mods, tricks, and share strategies.

www.halo2forum.com (hundreds of videos. My account there is Ganes, though I just lurk nowadays.)

Yes there are external capture cards, I have one. What most people use is the Dazzle series (I have a 90, but you can get 80 or 150), which connects to computer via USB. There's just a few extra things you need, like audio splitters and what not. Not too tough, but it'll run you about $100 to get it all together.

*Edit: And if you want to watch a couple of my crappy vids, check here:

http://putfile.com/ganesss (browngirl and penazero are really the only two short gameplay-type vids. Nothing special at all.)
