Halo 2 ATV

I think this might have been an Idea for Halo 2, just never created. Maybe will be in Halo 3...?

I just dont like the steering. There doesnt appear ro be handebars, but just handles...

I think that was the Halo 2 ATV. You were supposed to be able to drive it and shoot from it at the same time, and it was going to be faster and more maneuverable than the Warthog. It was basically supposed to be the human equivalent of the Ghost.

Probably had the physics of a real quad and was too easy to roll it and kill yourself.

i saw that in a game magazine, they called it "The halo 4wheeler" it was like a warthog but without a turret

The reason why it was tooken out is because it glitched up the game when they were playing with it.

It was in the game, but then removed. So for all intents and purposes of driving it: No it was not in the game lol

isuck is right. they were going to put it into halo 2 but they couldent get it to fire and drive right, and because there dedline was comeing up they just had to take it out completly(they did this with many other vehicles and wepons) the damn people should have gave them more time i mean its not a bad game but.....they could have made it so much better.

It's unfortunate that they took the ATV out. I really would have liked to play it. On the other hand, I also feel that they may have not done justice to the ATV if they did put it in. I'm torn between the two views, considering I'm a very very avid quad (ATV) (Four wheeler) rider.

I would like it in halo 2 even if you rolled it and killed youself or couldnt shoot that would be awsome to just drive in it to take it to run around quickly or somethin.

probably better off they held it out. then they can save it for halo 3, and spend the time on it they need to get the physics right and everything

I heard that there were supposed to be not only ATV's in Halo 2, but different types of warthogs as well.

That's a link to a picture. There's the normal hog, the camo-hog, the snow-hog, and the transport hog. I think you can guess which one is which.

Hmm, it appears you can mount something on the back of the ATV. Maybe you can mount a seat onto it. Or a turret. I'm pretty sure Halo 3 will have it.

Yeah, the ATV would have been sweet, to bad it didnt make it into the game. It got into the development game and then they sad it turned over too much and just didn't fit the gameplay. I have 2 ATVs at my house and they are awesome. I think it would just be like another ghost in halo2 strategy-wise, just a different look. It would just be something to sprint from one side of map to the other but would be easily taken out and all of spartans body would be exposed for too easy of sniping. Good idea by bungie though
