Halo 2. The SMG is an automatic weapon, you hold the trigger and rounds come out until you let go, it relies on mechanical and gas power from the gunpowder exploding. Besides fully auto is less accurate, burst fire is more controllable, i.e. Battle rifle. The magnum on H2 > You, if can aim.

Halo 2 has better gameplay, improved graphics and textures, and less glitches. Its more fun.

I love halo 1 then again I love halo 2. So I modded Halo 2 and added maps that feature Halo 1 physics and power

I don't have an XBox but i have Halo 1 for pc and played both 1 and 2 at my friends' houses. Now both games have strong points. I was disappointed to see that you cant snipe people out of scorpions anymore. As i said, both games have strong points. Like the pistol on the first game, you just cant compare a magnum against it. I mean, cmon. Well i admit you cant do warthog launches anymore because the vehicles auctally explode but thats replaced by the terrible fun of hi-jacking.

Both are great games. Halo1 story line is more rememorable at least for me. Also the new pistol does not suck u just gotta know how to use it and have good aim there is no need for a scope on it

I love both halo games. And ya punisher what you said is true, i duelwield the magnums all the time but somtimes theres too many enemies, etc soi have to get out a bigger weapon or throw grenades.
