everyone's coming up with new ways to dupe, so why shouldnt I?
ok... here's how i imagined it to work:
when game is really lagged ping:3000+, drop items to be duped onto floor.
then send the ".repeat 10 send 500100000001000000" packet this will drop u from the game, so u get rollbacked.
u have the item, ur friend who picked it up after u dropped it also has it...

anyone wanna test this? im on europe atm

correct me if Im wrong but isnt 500100000001000000 gold-drop package? the gold-lag-dupe was patched long ago (u get c/i r/d cuz of package overflow, but no rollback) but the lag dupe still works...

if you can get enough lag (dropping gold DOES lag but dropping too much wil get you c/i'ed) you can dupe...but lagging the server is hard...my suggestion:

1 Mule (He's duping
1 Friend (in another game)
6 Java Zones
1 Necro

Do the necro+psn java lag+drop gold+have the weapon-lagger module running

all this MIGHT result in enough lag...I doubt it tzhough

gold-lag-dupe?? never head of it, well, i guess no dupe then

cuz i was just in a game doing baal runs, when lag went up to 4k+ and then i gotc/i'ed and i constantly get "failed to join game"'s


and some time ago(im my noob days), i wanted to mule my shako, and the game was really laggy... so i dropped the shako, 2 friends in the game (including me) got c/i . i wassooo pissed cuz my beautifull shako was gone
the next day i logged on again, and the shako was on my head ^^

those are random rollbacks...happens pretty often...can result in random dupes sometimes but it is almost impossible to call such an event...

yeah that package was in my kit, but when I tested it last time I got c/i so I thought they might have changed it...guess I forgot 1 or 2 zero's

gold-lag-dupe: drop 1 gold over and over again ---> lags like hell then ... aw too lazy to write it all down ... doesnt work anymore

You would not get Rolled back for sending 10 drop gold packets, nor would you get rolled back if you send 1,000,000 Gold drop packets. You will simply Get C/I & R/D

yeah, u wouldnt get rollbacked for sending 2 drop gold packets, but u could when u'r c/i'd. well thats what i thougt...

the weapon lag module is a module to quickly switch your weapons over and over creating lag.

i can get c/i and r/d by manually dropping gold on the ground.

this method was patched long ago...you will get c/i and r/d for packet-overflow if you try that

1.9 was alot better, more modules out and easier to screw around, and all the hacked items were fun just it got boring once you had them all :S

i prefer 1.10 bigger challenge, more thing to exploit... (not saying 1.09 wasnt a challenge) still have 0.2 ahnung bout hacking d2, but hey, its coming....
