Bloodmage???

OKay...i might be missing out on something...but heres the question:

Banish now has 0 cooldown and at level 3 it only costs 35 mana(1.17)...right??....Then why not equip the hero with a couple of mana potions and banish half an army(meat wall) and deal with the rest??!? The spell lasts for quite a while....12 secs at level 1 and 18 at level 3...Imagine what this would do to an army of knights/tauren/aboms/bears...

I dunno maybe this was a stupid question because i might have missed out on an important fact?!?:fwink

question # 2:
Has anyone other than me experienced a glitch while casting flamestrike(1.16)?? The flames didnt show, but i didnt know if teh units took the damage...this has happened a couple of times...

And it also didnt clear trees everytime one game...(1.16)

1. it is very feasable but, most prefer to have flamestrike over banish because banish only lasts for around 10 seconds (?) and if they have spells then they can still cast them on you.
it would work good on orcs and undead but otherwise i wouldnt do it.
use it more than anything for combos (bolt, holy light, flamestrike/blizz) or what i do. use it ON your wounded units when they are getting pounded so you can have him run away while they lose what they were attacking because the AI goes awry when you do that.

2.must be some video card error, im not sure about the second part.

yeah but why not use them both?? you can flame strike the banished units...66% more damage...I forgot about banishing a mountain giant!!! At level 3 banish only costs 35 mana...I think a very good unit combo with the BM would be very good....

Banish
level 1 12(4)secs
level 2 15(5)secs
level 3 18(6)secs

oh and i forgot to add that mountain giant's taunt is disabled by banish...I dunno siphon mana seems to be very good also...it can keep the enemy melee hero away! So if banish and siphon mana are used together...their hero wont be able to focus at ur BM...The hero also has a 33% increase in attack speed. This is a very good bonus...

1.Because siphon mana has also been reworked and it is useful to leave the enemy hero/unit without mana and casting flame all the time , having mana all the time.

2. The first time I saw this was in one of the many Footmen wars, then I saw it in melee game, so it is a change in t he latest patches.

id say for bm 3 fs/ 1 banish/ 1 siphon
siphon is not all that great as most ppl will run as soon as it starts... banish is great in later game or in combos as said earlier and it would be insane not to get lvl 3 fs... often times u can take out an opponents whole group of casters/ranged in one hit
and unless in team i think bm should be a secondary hero he gets killed way too easy and fs is much more effective in larger battles rather than early game... when u have few units to deal with its easy to run from fs

2. Me either, I dont think i understood. Maybe you mean that if you cast it and the circle appears without the flame (because you moved your BM quickly) the spell is canceled and no damage is made.

1. That it is much better to have flame and siphon than banish. Or maybe if you have a wand of mana stealing and AM with brilliance aura you'll just use flame strike and banish?
