Guitar Hero World Tour singing, drumming, strumming - Wii News at GameSpot

and If I hear the words, "rock band" and "copy", I think i'll smack you. Considering Drum Hero and Band hero were trademarks registered before Rockband, one can safely assume games similar to rockband were conceived long ago, and Activision is simply using the guitar hero name to market it better. not to mention that the drum sections were developed by the guy who made MTV Drumscape.

drums look better than RB's.

lol I remember playing drumscape 10 years ago.

As long as they put the symbols higher and add another bass pedal I will love it.

double pedal is completely unnecessary for anything but insane metal where it is needed.

Edit

although thinking form a game perspective, and perhaps with some really heavy songs a second pedal wouldn't be so bad. Although every *real* Drummer is going to whine about it, because wannabe musicians all have a stick up their ass about everything.

also a double pedal will help the people with less rhythm.

Even if they don't do the double, they should at least do what most (good)Rock band users do and give up a metal pedal that won't break. I would pay an extra 20 for it.

speculation.

That is just gamestop pricing it so they can sell pre-orders. While it could be that expensive, I doubt it.
its probably more or less then rock bands price tag.maybe less if they want this to replace rock band. i know GS/EB will have discounts for trade ins

I'm tired of these games. They aren't fun after a week unless you're really, really drunk but even then they aren't that great but for an hour or so.

3 toms for the entire drumset huh?

I really wish they'd come out with a game that has a full on 6+piece kit. Throw down 2 foot pedals as well. One to control the highhats opening/closing and one for the kick drum. On songs where there are none or hardly any opening closing highhats, make it another bass pedal so you can actually have some sort of accurate drum workout from some of these songs. Sorry, but most metallica just shouldn't be played with 1 foot. It's not Def Lepard or anything.
